I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this book. The world-building is incredible. I haven't fully grasped the magic system yet, but it's incredibly intriguing. While the romance isn't a major focus, it's beautifully handled. I enjoy the dynamic between Arin and Sylvia. The Egyptian-inspired setting is gorgeous. I'm really enjoying this book.
