This is my first R.F. Kuang book and my initial venture into literary fiction. I’m slowly expanding my reading horizons, and so far, I’m enjoying the experience. The book's exploration of its themes is commendable, though at times, it feels a bit overly explicit. Despite that, I'm finding myself engrossed in the story and the author's writing style
