The Bands of Mourning is started well after the events of Shadows of Self, the second book in the Mistborn Era 2 series. Despite not being a fan of this era, I had developed a liking for certain characters in this series.

I’m currently 50% into the book. I like Steris’s character the most and I’m glad her character is expanding more than the previous books. MeLaan was another favorite character of mine but this book didn’t give her much to do.

I’m still sticking to not liking Wayne & Marasi. They get on my nerves for some reason. Let’s see how the reading journey goes with this one.
